His horse fell with him in Graveyard Canyon on the Z.T. Ranch in Pleasant Valley. He was a partner of Z. Hayes in the stock raising business. It took two days to find him. Tink Owens found him. George Armer, Z. Hayes, Tink Owens and Claud Looney took George's automobile to the scene of the accident, and they then took the body to Globe for interment. The only survivor known was his brother, Claud, who worked at the Globe Laundry.
