Ethel Jane Schorner, 86, Altoona, died Tuesday. She was born in Altoona to Robert & Annie (Mingle) Rigg. She married Adam Schorner March 3, 1951, in Winchester, Va. He died Aug. 29, 1988. Survived by son, Edward Schorner & wife, Diane, of Lititz; daughters: Mada Buda & husband, Denny, of Duncansville and Carol Klobetanz & husband, Randy, of Altoona; grandsons: Shawn Riling & wife, Faith, of Bellwood and Shane Riling, of DuBois; gr. granddaughter, Aliyah Riling, of Bellwood; gr. grandson, Elijah Riling, of Bellwood; sister, Kathryn Temofonte, of Altoona; and brother in-law, Norman Schorner. Predeceased by brothers: George and William Rigg; and sisters: Dolly Yon, Ann Rigg, Naomi Johnson, Mary Ehrenfeld and Eleanor Schraff. She was a member of Mardorf United Methodist Church; a 1940 graduate of Altoona High School and a homemaker. Mrs. Schorner enjoyed bowling, bingo, Scrabble, puzzles, bus trips and especially spending time with her grandsons and gr. grandchildren. Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata. Interment, Blair Memorial Park.
