Son of the late Woodrow Wilson Conner, Sr., and Gracie Mae Conner. He was survived by his former wife, Sandra; two sons, Thomas D. Conner and wife Veronica, Woodrow Wilson Conner, III (Joe); and a daughter, Rhonda Conner Harris and her husband Floyde. He was also survived by eight grandchildren; a brother, Thurman Ray Conner (Buck) and a sister, Mae Harrell; and an extended family of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Dickens. He worked as a produce manager of Food Lion prior to his final illness. He was buried October 26, 2008, with The Rev. Ray Brown officiating.
