Charles L. Hunt, 73, Tyrone, died Tues., March 10, 2009 at Altoona Hospital. He was born in Altoona to William Edward & Lydia Grace (Barnhill) Hunt. Survived by 3 daughters: Deborah S. Conway and Linda S. Lloyd (Robert), all Altoona, and Wendy S. Gardner (Troy), Hollidaysburg; grandchildren: Michael Conway (Danielle Creamer), Matthew Conway, Jonathan Hunt, Brandon Battistie, Sarah (Andrew) Minnoia, Curtis Barnes and Jakelyn Gardner; gr. grandchildren: Cassidy Hunt, Maddison Conway, Bailey and Ava Conway, Alexis Battistie and Khiry Barnes; brother, William M. Hunt & sister, Lois L. Adams, both Altoona; and Norma J. Hunt. Predeceased by daughter, Amy S., 1993; son, Russell Blaine 'Rusty' Hunt, 2000; grandson, Christopher, 1983; and son in-law, Arthur R. Conway, 2004. Charles was of the Methodist faith. Retired as a supervisor in 1998 from PPG Industries, Tipton, 31 years of service. Mr. Hunt enjoyed woodworking, hunting, cooking, raising beef cattle as a hobby and storytelling. Member of Hiram Lodge 616 F&AM; and Valley of Altoona, AASR. Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Altoona.
