John was the husband of Helen Ruth (Brant) Yohnkee, and father of Sharon and Marvene. Helen Ruth's father was my maternal uncle, Jesse Earl Brant. During my youth we had several interactions with the Yohnke family and I enjoyed seeing my cousin's, Sharon and Marvene, when our families got together. John loved Jesus and served Him and his church faithfully.
