Robert F Handy, died at the home of his father-in-law, Lewis Cross, in Harpster, Thursday night, at 10 o'clock, from inflammation and an abcess of the liver. Mr. Handy had been employed as telegraph operator on the Lake Erie and Western railroad at Kansas, Ohio, for the past six years and two months ago received a promotion to the Northern Ohio, a branch of that railroad, at Delphos. His family were preparing to move to the latter city, but Mr. Handy, being in poor health for some time, came from Delphos to the Cross home only a week ago to take treatment. He gradually grew worse and death ended his sufferings.

Myers, at Harpster. He was married October 17, 1901, in Mansfield, to Miss Bernice Cross, who survives him with one son, Robert Lewis, aged seven years. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Len Lester, of Tampa, Florida; and Mrs. V.T. Urbane, of Hamilton.
Mr. Handy was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge at Kansas, he had many friends in and about Harpster where sympathy is extended to the bereaved family in their sorrow.
The funeral will occur, Monday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, from the Methodist Episcopal Church at Harpster, conducted by Rev. Newcomb, of Ada. Interment will be made at Oak Hill Cemetery.
