Born Aug. 10, 1901 in Eden Township, Seneca County, she was the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Hunsicker) Ziegler.
Mrs. Brause is survived by her husband, Earl F. Brause, ad four children, Richard E. Brause, New Washington, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Pennington, Tiffin, Welden J. Brause, New Washington, and Mrs. Donald (Florice) Leonhardt of Bucyrus.
Other survivors include a brother, Calvin Ziegler of Tiffin and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Mrs. Brause was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church of Chatfield and the Hannah Circle of the church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Nazareth Lutheran Church of Chatfield, with services conducted by the Rev. George Swartzfager. Burial will be in Brokensword Cemetery. Calling hours will be after 12 noon Sunday at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral home in Bucyrus. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m.
