Mrs. Williams died Jan. 9 at her residence. Born in Cairo, she was a daughter of the late Albert G. Williams and Ruthie M. Lester. She attended Grady County public schools and was a member of the House of God Church.

Survivors include her mother, Ruthie M. Lester of Cairo; sisters and brothers, Jeremiah Williams, Dorothy Williams, Simmons, Marvin L. Williams, Kenneth (Debra) Williams all of Cairo, Albert Williams Jr., Carolyn (David) Doe, the Rev. Nathaniel (Joyce) Williams, Jonathan Williams all of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; stepbrothers, and sisters, Ronald (Lisa) Lester of Cairo, Hanson (Doris) Lester, Brenda (Willie) Downey, James (Carrie) Lester all of Richmond, Va., Gwendolyn (Samuel) Bates of North Carolina, Larry (Rita) Lester of Jacksonville, Fla.; godmother, Geneva Evans of Cairo; godsisters, Margurie Mathis, Kathy Jones, Jhynell Wilson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
