Pamela Q. Abel, 62, a Branch Operation and Financial Services Representative for Regions Bank in Winona, died of heart failure on Friday, February 20, at Select Specialty Hospital in Ridgeland.
Visitation is Saturday, February 21, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home. Funeral services are Sunday, February 22, at 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Winona, with burial in Duck Hill Cemetery in Duck
Hill. Rev. T.R. Darsey and Dr. Phillip Dancy will officiate the services.
Pam was a member of the Hillfire Theatre Group in Winona, the Montgomery County Arts Council, and the Montgomery County Relay for Life. She was a devout Ole Miss Rebel fan. Pam was a member of First Baptist Church in Winona.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin G. Abel of Duck Hill; two daughters, Lesley Abel of Duck Hill and Jeffrey Ellington of Cleveland; and two grandchildren, Eric Todd Leslie and Devan Ellington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Quackenbush; and a daughter, Catherine Abel Baker.
Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Montgomry County Relay for Life.
