In March 1949, at the request of his family, Bruce was disinterred and transported to the San Francisco Port of Embarkation, Oakland, California, then transferred for final interment at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point Loma, San Diego, California.
This young man bravely gave his life for his country.
