Brothers William L., Gordon I, and Howard S. Logan founded the textile firm Logantex, Inc. in New York City in the 1930's.

LOGAN-Howard Strong, on Oct. 6, at his home, 30 Park Ave., beloved husband of Doris Hoffman Logan, father of Diana (Mrs. Gary D.) Boyd of Rumson, N.J., Peter S. Logan of Grand Blanc, Mich., grandfather of Leslie Logan, and Eric and Cynthia Boyd, brother of Mrs. Verne Garrison of Fort Worth, Texas, and William L. Logan of Kerrville, Texas. Memorial service will be held in the chapel of Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, 7 W. 55 St., Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be sent to Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
