In 1850, when William was 21, he is on the census as a farmer with his father. He had moved to Cobb County – Coxes District.

Originally buried on farm on Clay Road where the Sweetwater Condos are located. He was later moved to Rose Hill Cemetery in Austell. Might explain why his tombstone looks newer than it should. And explain why the Strickland plot is further back
