Elsie Hall Davis, age 95, of Warsaw died Tuesday, March 7, 2000. Mrs. Davis was the widow of Bernard S. Davis Sr. and a charter member of Warsaw Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Bernard S. Davis Jr., and wife, Peggy of Warsaw; a daughter Mary Marie Sanders of Warsaw; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and eight step great grandchildren.
A funeral was held March 9, at Warsaw Baptist Church, with the Reverends L.D. Kimrey and N. Lowell Wright officiating.
Interment was in Warsaw Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Scott Shipman, Matt Oliff, Bernard Davis III (Trey); Randall Packett, Jr., Ralph Revere, Brad Lowery, Boatwright Sanders, Martin Mothershead and Nick Sgro.

Elsie attended Teacher's College in Fredericksburg and was a Teacher at Neenah School in Westmoreland County. She later worked at the Warsaw Telephone Exchange.
