Florence M. Kerbow was the 4th of 11 children born to William Russell & Ella Martha (Evett) Kerbow. The Kerbows owned and worked a farm on Smokey Road. There the children attended school and church in the Craig Prairie community. Florence's brother taught the Craig Prairie school a few years. Florence met Edgar Lee Alley, whose parents also lived on Smokey Road & Florence & Edgar married in 1918. Three sons were born to them & Florence died 3 days after her last son was born. Edgar Lee Alley died less than 2 years later.
