Marriage Announcement of Donald and Lois
Mr and Mrs James Gordon Keillor and Minnie of Pontiac announce the marriage of their daughter, Lois Marie, to Donald Jack Weston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard George Weston of Caro.
Father Elmer J. Betzing united the couple at a nuptial high mass at the Sacred Heart church at Caro, 10 o'clock Saturday morning, March 2. The bride 'was attended by Shirley Martin, a friend from Pontiac, and the groom's sister, Mrs. Fred Belperio of Detroit. The best man was Ernest Richardson of Fairgrove.
There was a contrast in suits worn by the party. The bride and groom wore blue gabardine suits. The bride had a corsage of red roses, the groom a carnation in the lapel. The maid of honor wore a gold gabardine suit with black accessories and a corsage of yellow roses, while the matron of honor wore aqua with black accessories and a corsage of white roses. A breakfast was served in Caro for the couple by the groom's mother. Sunday afternoon a reception was given by the bride's parents in Pontiac. The bride will continue in her teaching position in Deford where she began her first year after attending the Tuscola County Normal in Caro last year. The groom is an attendant-nurse at Caro State Hospital. They expect to take a trip to northern Canada during summer vacation. For the present they are living at Deford.
