Margaret Chlodell Harbison, 78, died Feb. 18, 2003 in Potosi, Mo.
She was born April 18, 1924 in Black, Mo., daughter of the late Oather and Leora (Carty) Gallaher. She was raised by her grandparents, the late John and Birdie Carty.
She was united in marriage to William Earl Harbison, Sr. June 15, 1940 and he survives.
Mrs. Harbison was baptized in the Black Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Joyce (Roy) Morgan, Potosi; three sons, Bill (Ruth Ann) Harbison, Jr., Centerville, Jim (Glenda) Harbison, Potosi, Rick (Debbie) Harbison, Belgrade; one brother, Bob Carty, Piedmont; four sisters, Geneva Moyer, Ironton, Bonnie Crocker, Mary Lou Hanger, both of Farmington, Ruth McCurdy, Texas; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held Feb. 21 at Bryson Funeral Home, Pilot Knob, with Rev. Butch Haus officiating. Burial was in the Ottery Cemetery.
