Paula K. Frazier, 76, of Etowah, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at Woods Memorial Hospital in Etowah.
A native of Eatonton, Ga., and a resident of Etowah for the past 74 years, she was a retired teacher from McMinn Central High School, where she taught commercial business. She was the former "Vice Mayor" of Etowah and a former manager of the Teacher's Credit Union. She was a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens and was a daughter of the late Paul O. and Mary Katherine Hicks Dunn. She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, where she served on various committees.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Frazier of Etowah; one brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Cecelia Dunn of Chattanooga; one uncle, Tony Dunn of Etowah; one nephew, Wesley Dunn of Mt. Juliet; one sister-in-law, Jean Frazier of Knoxville; two brothers-in-law, Bill Frazier and Edwin Frazier, both of Etowah; and several other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Allen officiating, and will conclude with the White Dove Liberation Ceremony.
There will be no formal visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wesley Memorial Window Fund.
