Vera Louvade Robinson Herrin, 71 (b. 14 Aug 1925), of Nahunta, died (14 Feb 1997) at Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center in Brunswick.

A native of Brantley County, she was a daughter of Francis Donald "Frank" Robinson and Nora Belle Lewis Robinson, and was the widow of Cecil Van Buren Herrin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Advent Christian Church.

She was survived by one daughter, Marilyn Herrin of Jacksonville, FL; one son, Jerry Van Herrin of Nahunta; three sisters, Ruby Bennett of Naples, FL, Flossie Johns and Gladys Wilson, both of Nahunta; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16, from the Chambless Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Frank Jacobs and Leon Wilson officiating.

Music was by Lula Wilson. Songs, "Oh Lamb of God," "Look for Me at Jesus' Feet," and "Amazing Grace."

Pallbearers were Neal Johns, Linton Herrin, Cleve Wilson, Corbett Wilson, Terry Crews, and Stacy Crews.

Chambless Funeral Home of Nahunta was in charge of arrangements.
