Last rites were held Friday afternoon at Novice community church for Arch Hale Ables, 20-year-old United States Marine, who died of cerebral congestion, on December 7 at Mare Island Hospital, California. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Ables of Blossom, Rt. 3.
The Rev. M. W. Lanier, Baptist pastor at Blossom, conducted the service and burial was made at Springhill Cemetery by Brown-Roden Funeral Home here.
