Mary Essie Lovelace was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Franklin Ledford. She was a member of Bess Chapel Methodist Church in Lincoln County. In addition to her husband she was survived by four sons, Wilbur Lovelace of Asheville, Thomas H. Lovelace of Atlanta, GA., C. M. Lovelace and Fred E. Lovelace, both of Kings Mtn.;one daughter, Mrs. Wayne S. Putnam of Charlotte.
