Marie Stewart Ivey, 94, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009.
She was the widow of Johnnie A. Ivey Sr., who died in 1979.
She was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church for more than 50 years.
She was previously employed at the Price Street School and the Warner Theater, both in West Chester.
Marie is survived by two children, Marie E. Sole of Honey Brook and George S. Ivey of West Chester; a daughter-in-law, Betty Ivey of West Chester; two sisters, Helen Seiple of Morstein (West Chester) and Emily Broadbelt of West Chester; and numerous grandchildren and great- and great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Johnnie A. Ivey Jr.; and a grandson, Johnnie A. Ivey.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, at the Founds Funeral Home Inc., 229 S. High St., West Chester, 610-696-0134, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Interment will be in the Green Mount Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Westminster Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 10 W. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382.
