Wife of Early B. Thomas
Lavada Bell Thomas of Jena died Monday at her home. She was 79. Born in Dowling Park, Mrs. Thomas moved to Jena from Clearwater in 1969. She was a homemaker. She attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Survivors include six sons, James Edward Thomas of Atalla, Ala., Renzo Thomas of Dunnellon, Willard Thomas and Eugene Thomas of Crystal River, Larry and David Thomas, both of Jena; three daughters, Dorothy Phillips of Newberry, Louvenia Hewit of Jena, Clarisse Thomas of Tarpon Springs; a brother, Russell Philmon of Crystal River; a sister, Ada Porter of Jacksonville; 40 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren.
