Jesse R. Pena, 70, a retired auto mechanic, passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009.
Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Rosary: 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
Jesse was born Sept. 3, 1938, in San Antonio. Over the past four decades since moving to Fort Worth, he worked at several Ford dealerships, going back to Dub Shaw Ford on Berry Street. He will be missed by all his family, but especially by his two precious grandchildren.
Jesse was preceded in death by his son, Jesse S. Pena Jr., and his wife of 44 years, Irma Pena.
Survivors: Daughter, Irene Haase and husband, Daniel; grandchildren, Lindsey Haase and Austin Haase; brother, Father Richard Pena; sisters, Connie Solis, Rachel Gonzales, and Inez Stierstorfer and her husband, Louis; brother-in-law, Bennie Bonazza; and many other family and friends.
