Mrs. Florence L Seitz
VALE — Services far Mrs. Florence Isabel Seitz, 90, Yale, who died Friday in an Ontario, hospital after a long illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Vale by Bishop Nell Hiatt, Concluding services and interment will be at Valley View. Arrangements are by High Funeral Chapel.
She was born Sept, 16, 1691, in Kingston, Ark. She attended school there and in Dry Fork, Ark., and was married to Albert Mack Seitz, Dec. 25, 1904. The couple moved from Arkansas to Quinton, Okla. in 1913. They moved to Mangum, Okla. in 1922, and to Nampa in 1934. They came to Vale in 1940, and, except for two years residence in Portland during World War II, have continued to make their home in Vale. They had been engaged in farming most of their lives.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors Include her husband., four daughters, Mrs. Elva Marincio of Big Piney, Wyo. Cora Seitz of Hobart, Okla., Mrs. Janie Hughes, Mangum and Mrs. Hazel Johnson of Vale; two sons, Donald Seitz of Nampa and Carl Seitz of Portland; 25 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A son, Doyle Seitz, died in 1965.
