Clarence was born in Nebraska to Charles H. Rosevelt 1864 – 1955 and Catherine "Kate" St John 1859 – 1900, (who was "widowed" on the 1900 census) and came to Kansas through Missouri, with his brother John # 100029317, his wife Kate and their family. He was a Butcher for Chas Wolff Packing Co. before he joined the Army. He was Cherokee & Blackfoot.
