Lawrence Hall Davis, 84, of Warsaw died Friday, January 12, 1996. Mr. Davis was a retired farmer and businessman, a longtime and an active member of Totuskey Baptist Church, a Navy veteran of World war II and a member of the American Legion Post No. 0141 and the Warsaw-Bauman Masonic Lodge No. 332 AF&AM. ; Mr. Davis is survived by his , Wife, Leona Packett Davis; two sons, Lawrence Harlan Davis of Athens, Ga., and James Ervin Davis of Macon, Ga.; one daughter, Joanna Davis Hanks of Mechanicsville; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Faxwell H. Davis of Fort Myers, Fl., and Alfred H. Davis of Warsaw; and a sister, Frances D. Lewis of Sharps. ; A funeral service was held 1 pm
Sunday, January 14, at Totuskey Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Totuskey Baptist Church Cushion Fund. P.O. Box 100, Haynesville, 22473, or the Richmond County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 55, Warsaw, 22572.
