Commissary Sgt. 7th Kentucky, Co. D (Sanders Cav.). Captured April 5, 1863 at Proctor, Kentucky. Arrived June 4, 1863. Died Oct. 31, 1863 of typhoid fever.
Samuel Everman was a P.O.W. He married Martha Garrison. Samuel was a POW at Johnson's Island Confederate Civil War Cemetery. He died from typhoid fever. Buried block 7, grave now unknown. Samuel married Martha Garrison White. They have two children, Elvira Everman and John A. Everman.
