Mrs.William Drake(Martha R.),78 of route 4, princeton,died Thursday in Perry Memorial hospital. Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Hughes funeral home, Tiskilwa, the Rev. Russell McClanahan of the Tiskilwa Methodist Church,officiating. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery,Bureau. Mrs. Drake was born in Sheffiled Illnois, Bureau County. A daughter Carl And Marie Petersen Hansen.Surviving are three children,One Daughter,Mrs Glen(Helen)Kimberley,route 4;two sons Kenneth of Wyanet,Donald of route 3; 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren,nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband Pvt William E.Drake,in 1966. The Drakes farmed all their married life in Arispie Township.She also preceded by one son in infancy. three brothers and three sisters and her parents.She was my first great grandmother.
