Adela (Dale) Ruth Mason, 75, of Baytown, died on Monday, January 5, 2009, at a Houston hospital. She was born April 5, 1933, in Oakland, TX, to William (Willy) Krizak and Mary (Krecji) Krizak. A loving mother, Mrs. Mason was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, playing 42, and being with her grandchildren. She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Joe Krizak; three sisters, Martha Gray, Lydia Littlefield and Helen Melvin.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Glenn Mason; sons, Geary Mason and wife, Karen, Randy Mason and fiancée, Kathy, and Alan Mason and wife, Gail; sisters, Charlene Monroe and husband, Duffie, Anette Rawls, Willie Barnett and husband, Courtney, Millie Baxter and husband, Stephen, Dorothy Bradshaw and husband, Eldridge, Irene Winnans and husband, Doug, and Mary McGrew. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Sarah Meschede, Amanda, Michael, Joshua, Brittany, Cade and Christa Mason; one great grandchild, Ava; and numerous nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with Reverend Sharon Sabom officiating. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Cemetery.
