Eustache married June 19, 1878, Margaret Wark, 24 years of age, daughter of James Wark and Agnes (Pretty), of Darling Twp. They lived for a few years in the Combermere area where the 1881 Census showed their children at that time as: Eustache, 2 yrs. and Agnes 10/12 mos. (b. 1881). Two other children, James (b. 1882) and Peter (b. 1883) were born in Canada before the family moved to Alcona County around 1885. The family would grow with the arrivals of Jessie, Isabelle, Wallace, John, David and Margaret.
