Pvt. Eustace E. (Jim) Fenwick, 22, son of Eustace E. Fenwick, Sr., of Daleville, was killed in action in France September 11, according to notification by the War Department.
Private Fenwick was graduated from Daleville High School with the class of 1940. He was stationed in Iceland from 1941 to 1943 and took part in the first invasion of France last June 6.
Surviving are the father and a sister, Miss Mary Jane Fenwick, an instructor of nurses at Logansport State Hospital.
