Charles, of Beaumont, passed away with his wife by him at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.

A graduate of South Park High School, he also completed the Carpenter's Apprentice Course at Lamar College. He was owner and operator of Clark Construction Company in Beaumont/Orange area until moving to Massachusetts in 1988, where he built condominiums and then worked for "The Stripping Warehouse."

He retired in 1993, due to illness. After his retirement, Charles was introduced to camping where he became a master griller. He enjoyed fishing, pitching horseshoes and repairing/refinishing furniture. He was also a member of the Lions Club of Orange and was instrumental in his nephew, C.T.'s, participation in the Lions Camp in Kerrville. Charlie particularly enjoyed the time spent with his grandpa Stockholm.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Clark; sister, Anne Heiner; stepsons; nieces and nephews; and step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles S. "Judge" and Thelma I. Clark.
