Celia Jesse Snyder Fortner, twin to Amelia Besse Snyder Kilgore, were the 2nd & 3rd children born to Elmer & Flora America Burghart Snyder on 9/12/1907. Celia passed on 9/12/1977. Preceding her in death were her husband, Forrest and daughter Lynda Lou, special twin, Amelia Besse, parents, Elmer & Flora Snyder, brothers Ray/Roy, sister, Marie Coles, brother, Marlyn Wade. Survivors included her children: Phyllis Self, Delores (Norman) Haga, Larry (Donna) Fortner, Janice (Leonard) McBride, Phillip Gale Fortner, Priscilla (Bill), many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fortner was a member of Cayuga Christian Church. She was an excellent cook, gardener, a help to all, and very fun loving.
