OBITUARY: Mrs. Orva Fritz. Funeral services for Mrs. Orva Fritz, 78 a former resident of Manhattan who died yesterday at Ellsworth, Kans., where she was a patient at the Good Samariatan Luthern Church Home, will be Saturaday at 2 p.m. at the Couser Chapel. Dr. Samuel S. George will officate. Burial will be in the Riley Cemetery. Mrs. Fritz who was born Feb 1, 1881, near Riley, lived in Manhattan many years before her illness. She had been an invalid six years at the time of her death and had been a patient at the Ellworth home for 2 years. Surviving are two son Jerry of Manhattan and Willard of Buhl, Idaho. A daughter, Mrs. Arnold Hosler of Manhat., two sisters, Mrs. G.W. Newel of Manhat- and Mrs. Mattie Parrick of Topeka, Seven grandchildren and several g-grandchildren. Mrs. Fritz's husband Charles died Sept. 6, 1944. Dated 3/27/1959.
