Gene Leon Clark, 68, of Bernie, died Dec. 25, 2001, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter.
Born Sept. 5, 1933, in Bernie, son of the late Charlie and Vina Nelson Clark, he was a carpenter with Building Construction of Southern California before retiring. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include: one daughter, Vickie Lynn Lentz; one son, Terry Clark; one brother, Bob Clark; one sister, Ethel Fyffe; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services were scheduled at the Bernie Cemetery.
