He was a graduate of French High School and served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from Mobil Oil Refinery in 1983 at the age of 62 after thirty-six years of service.
During his life, he devoted much of his time to gardening, a true passion of his, and to his crossword puzzles, which kept him occupied and sharp.
Survivors include his son, Anthony Perello; grandchildren, Meaghan Windham and Bryant Windham, Kayleigh Louviere and Caitlyn Louviere; sisters, Rosa Perello and Frances Perello Davis; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and Anthony Perello; his wife, Vera Neme Perello; his daughter, Margaret Perello Kelley; brothers, Veto Perello, Jasper Perello; and a sister Angie Perello Phillips.
