Lillie Mary Florus 82 of Crosby, Texas went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2008. Lillie was born on September 23, 1926 in Dayton, Texas to Frank and Bessie (Vyoral) Moudry. Lillie has lived in the Crosby area all of her life and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crosby. When she wasn't busy taking care of her family Lillie enjoyed flowers, watching wrestling, crocheting, playing dominoes, making kolaches and chicken noodle soup, and most of all enjoying time with her family. Lillie was a very strong woman with a great sense of humor, who will be missed by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Bessie (Vyoral) Moudry, husband Robert Florus, brother Adolph Moudry and sister Albina Moudry. Lillie is survived by her son Donald Florus and wife Carolyn, daughter Cindi Johnson and husband Jeff, grandson Jeff Johnson, grandson Joshua Johnson, grandson Christopher Johnson, granddaughter Aarika Young and husband Clint, grandson Robert Florus and wife Patti, great grandchildren; Kellis, Colin and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Sterling-White Funeral Home from 5-8pm with a rosary at 7pm.
