Agnes Claire Oviedo, 81, of Baytown, Texas passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at St. John's Hospital in Nassau Bay. Agnes was born February, 14, 1927 in St. Martinville, LA. There she met and fell in love with her husband of 63 years, Rudy Oviedo. They came to live in Baytown and raise their family. Agnes was preceded in death by her son Michael Oviedo and sister Luda Theriot. She is survived by her husband Rudy, son Thomas, daughter Karen and hher husband Roy Ugalde. She is also survived by her grandchildren Mona, Edward and wife Jennifer, and Alexis Oviedo, Christopher, Kathryn and Victoria Ugalde; great-grandchildren, Renee and Allison Pina, Haley, Marcus, Abigail Oviedo, and Jase and Braydon Callaway; great-great-grandchild Adrian Pina; sisters, Rita Theriot and Marie Granger of St. Martinville, LA. Honoring Agnes as her pallbearers will be Louis Rey and David Rodriguez, Chris Ugalde, Edward Oviedo, Curtis and Jerry Granger. Visitation will be Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 4-8PM with a Rosary Service at 6PM at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg RD. Highlands, TX 77532. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 15, 2008 at 10AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Baytown. Burial will follow at Sterling-White Cemetery.
