SHERMAN ELLIOTT WRIGHT, 48, died at 7 p.m. Sept. 24, 2003, at University Hospital of Cincinnati.

He was born June 24, 1955, in Alger to Brum and Yvonne Gross Wright. On Oct. 22, 1975, he married Monica Orahood, who survives in Dunkirk.

Mr. Wright was a Marine veteran.

Survivors also include two sons, Timothy (Lynn) Wright of Bellefontaine and John Wright of Bluffton; a daughter, Hope Darlene Wright of Bellefontaine; three brothers, John Wright of Lancaster, Herbert (Pam) Wright of Dunkirk and Aaron (Mel) Wright, of Bellefontaine; five sisters, Julia (Dick) Hatcher of Lakeview, Charlotte Dyer and Naomi (Pete) Otraszkiewiez, both of Lima, Ellarie (Dean) Miranda of Bellefontaine and Jean Marie of Wapakoneta; an aunt, Jane Harsh of Forest; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

The Rev. Herbert Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
