Late in the evening on January 2, 2016, Eunice Ham Stanley passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was at home, with her daughter, Virginia (Ginger) Stanley England, and son-in-law, Edward Gary England. Eunice was 99 years old. She was born in Hartford, Alabama on December 1, 1916 to Missouri and Sel Ham. Eunice was the 6th of 7 children. She was born and raised on a farm. When she was 23, she met and then married Rex Lance Stanley of Millville, FL. After WWII, they settled in Panama City and raised their family. They had two daughters, Virginia Gay and Linda Carol. Eunice was co-founder of Bo Peep Kindergarten and Pre-school that she ran for many years and later in life, she taught mentally handicapped adults at Mary Mackin Center. She was a lifelong Baptist and was always active in her church, Immanuel Baptist, where she created a special ed Sunday school class that she subsequently taught for over 20 years.

She is survived by both her daughters, her three grandchildren, Elizabeth England Kabalka, Lance England and Paul England, and six great grandchildren, Kieran, Declan and Rowan Kabalka and Liam, Eden and Talia England.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 9, 2016, at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Kuhn and Pastor Josh Spiers officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday January 8, 2016, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM. Asked to serve as pallbearers are Lance England, Paul England, Kieran Kabalka, Stephen Kabalka, Tom Stanley and Bob Davis.The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 216 College Ave, Panama City, FL 32401.
