A lifetime resident of The Golden Triangle, he was a boilermaker for many years traveling all over the country and a member of The Boilermakers Union International. He was a cowboy and enjoyed working with horses and cattle and playing the guitar.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; sons, Jerry Langford Jr. and wife Irma and Thomas Langford and wife Jerrilynne; daughters, Denise Zehrung and husband Gary McCurley and Cindy Zeno and husband Robert and twelve stepchildren; sisters, Betty Mize and husband Clyde and Rhonda Stanley and husband Randy; forty one grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. He will be especially missed by his faithful dog Rusty and his horse Fancy.
He was preceded in death by two stepsons.
