Vergie, of Village Mills, passed away Saturday at Kountze Nursing Center.
Born to Charlie Simmie and Vera (Franks) McGraw, she was a lifelong resident of the Kountze area; was a retired LVN with Texas Home Health and was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Village Mills.
Survivors include her sons, Gary Freeman and his wife Rene and Patrick Freeman and his wife Susan; sisters, Gerri Adair and Sue McGraw; brother, Charlie "Buddy" McGraw; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
