He was born Monday, May 9, 1921, in Chicago, to Henry and Nellie Hafstrom Albright.
On May 9, 1965, he married the former Mary Lou Freeman in Donovan; she passed away February 27, 1995.
Mr. Albright was a co-owner and agent for McFall Insurance Agency and later Iroquois Insurance Agency.
He was a member of the Donovan Church of Christ, Watseka VFW Post 7450, Donovan American Legion, Masons, and Mohammed Shrine Consistory. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, clock making, and woodworking.
Surviving Mr. Albright are one step-son, John Freeman of Hollywood, Cal.; three step-grandchildren, Charles Hailer of Nashville, Tenn., Tina Hailer of Reno, Nev., and Sean Hailer of Reno, Nev.; and three step-great grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers in infancy, and one step-daughter, Mary Rose Mackenzie.
Cremation rites have been accorded for Mr. Albright. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008, at 11 am at the Beaver Cemetery in Donovan, with Pastor Terry Horn officiating.
Memorials in Mr. Albright's name may be made to the Donovan Church of Christ or to the donor's choice.
