Catherine Norton Latina Age 83, of New Castle, DE, formerly of Wilmington, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2003 at the Christiana Hospital in Newark. Mrs. Latina was a loving mother and homemaker. She especially enjoyed the company of her sisters and her family. Mrs. Latina was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, as well as the Sodality. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonzo Latina; her daughter, Marie Latina Aceto; and her brother, Joseph Norton. Mrs. Latina is survived by her 3 sons, Robert A. and his wife, Sonia, of Ocala, FL, Dennis P. and his wife, Natasha, and Alfonzo (Chip) Jr. and his wife, Jackie; a son-in-law, Joe Aceto; 6 grandchildren, Tish, Jessica, Joshua, Adrienne, Emily, and Sasha Latina. She is also survived by a brother, Thomas Norton, of Claymont, and 3 sisters, Marie Hussey of TX, Elizabeth Stansky of New Castle, and Nora Cook of Wilmington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, May 16, 2003 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6th and Pine Streets in Wilmington at 10 am. Entombment will be in Cathedral Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the CORLETO-LATINA FUNERAL HOME, 808 N. Union Street, in Wilmington on Thursday, May 15, 2003 from 6-8 pm.
