Gordon is the son of William H Fidler & Ida K (Kuhner) Fidler. Husband of Colletta Margaret (Quattrociocchi) Fidler.
Married May 1943.
They had one child Colletta Anne. (He was killed 3 months before she was born.

Gordon joined the army as a private. He became a Lieutenant and was assigned to the Glider Units for the invasion of Europe. I do not know whether he was attached to the 101st or 82 Airborne.
Dropped into Normandy on D-Day. Was killed July 5, 1944 by a sniper.
