PHILADELPHIA - Services for L. C. Abel will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at McClain-Hayes Funeral Service chapel with the Rev. Richard Burkes and Lillie Roark officiating. Burial will be in Ocobla Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mr. Abel, 87, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, July 15, 2004, in his home. He was a retired railroad bridge foreman.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Abel; son, Johnny Abel, both of Philadelphia; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Trudie Clay; and a brother, George Clayton Abel, both of Meridian.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
