-Kay Barron Elwood 37 of Osceola Mo. Passed away Dec. 9,1980 at the Sac Osage Hospital in Osceola. She was born February 14,1943 in Kansas City MO.

Kay spent most of her life in the louisburg area, haveing graduated from Louisburg High School. She enjoyed her family,working with ceramics and gardening . She was united in marriage to William Leroy Elwood on May 24,1976 at Miami Oklahoma.

Surviveing are her husband William Leroy Elwood of the home one son Stephen Barron and her parents Mr. Mrs. Larry Barron of Louisburg, two sisters Shirle McNeal of Minneapolis Minn. and Diana Hink of Olathe, Kansas . one brother Sean Barron of Louisburg Ks. outher relitives and freinds.

Funeral services were held Friday Dec. 12 ,1980 at 1:30 at Runyans Chaple in Louisburg Kansas with Rev. George Chase officiating organ selections were played by Mrs. Alice Dellinger. Casketbearers were Raymond Elwood, Jerry Elwood, Patrick Elwood, Gary Hink, Jerry McNieal and Mark Bodine, Burial was in the Louisburg Cemetery under the direction of the Runyan Funeral Home.


Kay was a very special person they do not make them like her any more she had a tough life and a short life.

I knew Kay when she lived in Louisburg in the 60s and 70s. She was married to Duane Tracy then.

Her sons was names Steve Tracy. Her brother was Sean Barr

on and the Barrons lived in the 600 block of Olive St on the east side.

I remember Kay being a very nice lady and she drove a Mustang at that time.Erice Wilcox
