Miss Carolyn Louise Carver, age 59 of Calhoun, departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Sunday at the Redmond Regional Hospital in Rome.

Carolyn was the daughter of the late Rev. Chapel and Edith Johnson Carver. She was also preceded in death by a niece, Donna Gail Johnson, and a nephew, Jackie Glenn Carver.

Carolyn was an accomplished pianist and accordion player. She loved to minister with her music and singing. She sang for many years with her parents, brother and sister-in-law as The Singing Carver Family.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Charlene Carver; nices and nephews; Jesse Lynn and Connie Carver, Linda Diana and T.K. Snyder, all of Adairsville.

Great-uncles and nephews, Jessica Carver, Adrianne Johnson, William Johnson, Lydia and Andy King; great-great-nieces and nephew, Hunter and Kiersten King.

Services were held on Wednesday from the Calhoun Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Clayton and Rev. Sam Henderson officiating.
