Dale E. Cooley Mason Age 80, died November 14, 2008; born June 24, 1928 in Charlotte, Michigan. Mr. Cooley retired from A & P after 42 years of service and served 2 years in the U.S. Army, one year of which was spent on the Korean Peninsula. He was a member of the VFW Post 3727, First United Methodist Church of Mason and delivered Meals on Wheels. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Virginia; daughters, Elizabeth J. (Thomas Wilson) Luttrell-Wilson and Susan I. (Kenneth L. Jr.) Knighton; son, Warren D. Cooley; grandchildren, Aurora N. Wesley and Chad M. E. Luttrell; and sister, Donna Beth Felton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 20th at Noon at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason with the Rev. Timothy T. Tutthill, officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Hicks Cemetery, Battle Creek, Michigan. The family will receive friends at the chapel Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to Baseline United Methodist Church, 9617 Baseline Road, Battle Creek, MI 49017 or Kiwanis Club of Mason Foundation, P.O.
