I can still hear her voice at times and it brings a smile. She was not one to hold back on her thoughts. She taught me how to crochet and tried to teach me to knit. She took care of her granddaughter for us when we worked and Chris always remembers her "Gwamma" fondly. Rejeanne lovingly made afghans for all her children and grandchildren. Always creative, she had projects going all the time.
She made the best homemade spaghetti sauce and loved to cook.

Enhanced information from her obituary:
Rejeanne Mary Poulin Greer, 85, formerly of Butler Avenue, passed away on Wednesday (November 12, 2008) at the Sheridan Woods Healthcare Center in Bristol. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel F. Greer.

Born June 22, 1923 in Compton, Canada, daughter of the late Omer and Delia (Doyon) Poulin. She had 11 brothers and sisters, some who stayed in Canada and some who moved to different areas of the US. She would tell stories of how her brothers would tease her and her sisters, and one time locking her in a roll top desk they had at home. It was these stories that make her family history more than just names and dates.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; Daniel and Myrna Greer; Richard and Cecelia Greer and James and Cynthia Greer; a sister Flo Sullivan of Morton, MS; six grandchildren, Daniel and Michael Greer and Denise Blatchley, Christine Greer, Julie Sleight and David Greer; seven great-grandchildren, Jakob, Daniel, Katherine, Keith Jr., Zayda, Celicia and Ayden. Rejeanne also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, November 15 at 10 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Southington to St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol Street, Southington for a Mass.
Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
